Just had my yearly medical review and great consideration was given to certain aspects. Sent for further blood tests to ascertain if medicines need changing. Always cheerful staff and Doctors try to put you at ease .

This surgery is fantastic. I've never had to wait a long time for an appointment and on the odd occassion when appointments are running behind it doesn't matter because I know whether I see Dr Awad of Dr Goodard the level of care and service I am provided with makes any wait worth while. Both doctors take the time to listen, never make you feel silly for asking questions. They refer for specialist care quickly and make sure you know what is happening. Dr Awad once fit me in for an appointment before he was due to leave for the airport to go on holiday, he then telephoned me from the airport to check I was doing okay. I couldn't ask for a better team of people, including reception who are not stuck up, intrusive and don't pretend to be a doctor. I would 100% recommend this surgery.

I needed an emergency appointment and was told to go to the surgery straight away. I was seen by the doctor within 30 minutes of arrival. My prescription was sent directly to the chemist for collection which saved me time.
The receptionists are always most thoughtful & helpful

It was easy to get an appointment at a suitable time. I saw the doctor and the practice nurse in one visit and received great care from both. I would not hesitate to recommend the practice to anybody.

Melrose Medical Centre is a very caring centre. You do not have to wait for appointments, they are open early on the morning to late evening. The practice is run very efficiently and Dr Awad is a very professional and caring person. I would recommend this Centre to everyone.
